Social Development

For a city to become more vibrant and resilient it needs to provide care for the less fortunate and foster a sense of inclusivity.  The Social Development Officer of the Voortrekker Road Corridor Improvement District (VRCID) concentrates much of her efforts to network and motivate all service providers, as well as businesses within the VRCID area, to help the people living on the streets as effectively and constructively as possible.  To reach this goal, service level agreements between various service providers is being advocated and initiatives where businesses partner with service providers to empower the less fortunate receives a lot of attention.
