He fulfilled the same role in the Cape Town Central City until 2007 and has the experience and knowledge to turn the urban decay around. Most of the operations will start on 1 August 2012. The operations of the VRCID will be executed in accordance with the approved Business Plan for the VRCID.
The initial focus will be on establishing additional public safety, cleaning and urban management services in the area.
