The Voortrekker Road Corridor Improvement District (VRCID) and the Greater Tygerberg Partnership (GTP) came together for the first time in a landmark gathering that marked a new era of collaboration for Bellville’s growth. CAPE TOWN’S REVISED MUNICIPAL BY-LAW

Cape Town has approved key amendments to its Municipal Planning By-law, paving the way for affordable rental housing, legalising small-scale developments, and improving urban management in high-demand areas like Bellville. The changes aim to empower micro-developers, enhance safety and service access, regulate renewable energy structures, and curb illegal building work—setting a new benchmark for sustainable urban growth.
